When do I need to arrive in Aachen? At what time can I plan my return travels?

One of the ‘value-adds’ of DTM is the connections you will make with future co-founders, investors, mentors, and potential hires. In order to maximize this opportunity we ask all participants to arrive and be present at the event location on ‘Day 0’ from 14:00 for the DTM opening panel “Building Europe’s Deep Tech Titans”.

Days 1, 2 & 3 will demand 100% of your time for this intensive bootcamp. We finish up on Saturday by 14:30.

Do I have to participate in all four days?

See the question above!

DTM is not another conference to dip in and out of. If you are a Founder or Joiner this space is designed to change the trajectory of your company/professional life. You can’t miss a single second!

How does the application process work?

All start-ups and joiners go through a diligent and short screening process involving a 20-minute interview to ensure we have united the best European Deep Tech Startups in Aachen this May.

Where can I find a schedule for the event?

We will provide a full schedule to all participants after signing up. To get a first idea, you can find an overview on our website.

Where is DTM 2023 organized?

How do I get to the event location?

Aachen has a good public transport system, to see what works best with your accommodation’s location you could download the movApp. It shows you public transport options, cabs, carshare, cycles, scooters, mopeds, and which of the many shared mobility platforms are close to your location together with the travel price. Google maps is also a great option!

For Joiners

What are the requirements to become a joiner?

We are searching for Deep Tech enthusiasts with professional backgrounds in tech or business. As a joiner, you should be looking to join an existing Deep Tech founding team and be ready for a full-time commitment in the European Deep Tech ecosystem.

For Founders

Must our business be incorporated in order to join Deep Tech Momentum?

Start-ups participating at Deep Tech Momentum should be incorporated or in the process of incorporating.

Must we be looking for a co-founder in order to join Deep Tech Momentum?

While we welcome teams that are still looking for a potential co-founder, this is not a requirement. Our joiner match-making session will provide you with the opportunity to not only match with potential co-founders but also potential employees or simply sparring partners for your ideas.

Do I have to pitch to attend?

If you are a founder of a startup at DTM you need to make the most of the investment prize money available and get on stage on Saturday!

If you are a joiner, you can decide with your team who does this (usually the CEO).

You won’t regret pitching, but you might regret not pitching.

How do I get there?
